Tensomax Partner Hub
Dealers build their own quotes, with the price coming straight from the price list, and follow each order through to production.

Before and after
how it was
Between Tensomax and its dealer network everything went through email and phone: price requests, quotes, documents, order progress. A channel that holds up with a few partners and clogs as the network grows, because every answer waits for someone to give it.
what we built
A B2B portal where each dealer configures a quote in four steps, with the price calculated from the price list, downloads its documents and follows the order until production starts. Tensomax runs products, prices, companies and orders from the admin area.
$ ls ./components
How it is built
-
01
The server sets the price
Price list, company discount, dealer net, markup, customer price: the whole chain is always calculated by the server, even when a quote comes in through the API, where the request does not even have a price field. If a value is uncertain, the quote says “to be checked”, never zero.
-
02
Three documents from one quote
The same quote produces the PDF for the end customer, with the dealer’s logo and no discounts, the one for the dealer and the internal one with a watermark. Everyone reads only what concerns them.
-
03
Customers stay with the dealer
End customers’ data is encrypted with a different key for each dealer: Tensomax cannot read it without the dealer’s consent. That is what makes a dealer willing to put their own customers in it.
-
04
From order to production
Ten states, payment deadlines, bank-transfer receipts and contract signing with a code sent by email. An order goes into production only once the contract is signed and the deposit has arrived.

How it turned out

[ok] 7,316 automated tests across the 4,708 cells of the price list, none failed
