Soluzione Tende
You start from the size of your window and only see the blinds that can actually be made. The price is calculated by the server, not the browser.

Questo ha un accesso riservato e vieta di farsi incorniciare: è la difesa che impedisce a chiunque di mettere un modulo di login dentro una pagina non sua.

Before and after
how it was
A made-to-measure blind has no price until it has measurements: width, height, fabric and control all change it, and beyond certain limits the blind cannot be made. Meanwhile the previous shop had piled up layers: cloned pages whose addresses no longer matched the product, prices per square metre written into titles, a test post never removed.
what we built
A custom WooCommerce shop with a five-step configurator — measurements, model, fabric and colours, control and accessories, summary — from which you can buy straight away, save, share or ask for a quote. In the migration the addresses of the remaining products stayed the same, and the removed ones were closed explicitly.
$ ls ./components
How it is built
-
01
Window first
You type width and height and the shop shows only the blinds that can be made at that size, checked against the real production limits. No surprises at the basket.
-
02
The browser knows no prices
The configurator asks its own API for price and validation: the code that reaches the browser contains no formulas, coefficients or rules. Per-piece and per-metre surcharges, 220 V, battery or Apple Home motors.
-
03
The quote is the configuration
For blinds that need assessing, the request carries the full configuration, not a generic form to fill in again. From the basket, “Edit” reopens the configurator where you left it.
-
04
Measuring without giving data away
Consent denied by default: Analytics receives addresses stripped of emails and configuration data, and configurator events contain no measurements or personal data.
$ ./results --after
How it turned out
[ok] A made-to-measure blind can be bought in five steps, with the exact price before the basket
[ok] Payments by card, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay
[ok] Product addresses preserved in the move to the new shop
