In-house architecture and development
Before and after
how it was
Anyone with a reseller network serves it by phone and email: price lists as attachments, orders to be typed up, case status to be asked for. The network grows and the method does not.
what we built
A portal dedicated to the sales network, from the same software family as the manufacturers system but designed for the people reselling: self-service access to price lists, orders and request status.
$ ls ./components
How it is built
-
01
Role-based access
A reseller sees their own terms and their own orders, not those of anybody else.
-
02
Self-service ordering
The network places its own orders, instead of having somebody type up an email or a phone call.
-
03
A tailored demo
This product is shown with an environment already populated too, not an empty system waiting to be filled.
$ ./results --after
How it turned out
[ok] The network works on its own instead of over the phone
[ok] Terms and price lists always in the current version
[ok] The same framework as the manufacturers system, different roles
// services involved
$ ls ./other-cases
