Before and after

how it was

In a feed a static banner lasts less than a second. A brand that lives on its community needs content people watch to the end, and that stays recognisable even at small sizes.

what we built

A campaign built around an arcade setting: a three-dimensional slot machine, animated reels and the brand palette — white, black, grey and neon green — worked into banners for desktop and mobile.

$ ls ./components

How it is built

  1. 01

    An arcade setting

    A recognisable world rather than a coloured background: the scene holds up even without a logo laid over it.

  2. 02

    Reel animation

    The movement comes to rest on three levels: the content has an ending, so people watch it through.

  3. 03

    Desktop and mobile versions

    Two formats thought through separately, not a crop of the same file.

$ ./results --after

How it turned out

[ok] Content that stays recognisable even at reduced size

[ok] An animation with an ending, not an indistinct loop

[ok] Distinct formats for desktop and mobile

// services involved
